Protect the Unborn

I am pro-life and stand firmly against abortion. I believe the Constitution means exactly what it says, the right to life and the pursuit of happiness, and can never be taken from anyone, whether born yet or not.

Right to Bear Arms

I am an avid advocate for our 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms. The government has no right to impose on the right of citizens to bear arms. I am a proud member of the National Rifle Association.

Protect Coal Mining and Jobs in Marion County and West Virginia

I will work hard to protect and support West Virginia's coal mining industry and make sure that more jobs are available in Marion County and our state. I strongly support teachers and miners as well as small business. Our children, families, and friends need to have jobs here at home. In February 2010, more than 10% of West Virginians were unemployed, and about 8.5% of them from Marion County.

Less government - Less taxation

I believe in small government and minimal legislation. As government continues to expand and oppress, taxpayers are paying the price. The people are overtaxed and overburdened. Less government spending is an essential element towards tackling the heavy taxes placed on the people.
